Juvéderm Volbella XC

JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC is part of the JUVÉDERM® Collection of Fillers. It was developed for correcting and softening the appearance of vertical perioral lip lines and for adding subtle volume to a thinning upper and lower lip. JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC is created using Allergan Aesthetics™ Vycross® technology and is non-hydrophylic with a low concentration of hyaluronic acid. JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC feels a little thicker than water and is the least volumizing filler of the JUVÉDERM® Collection of Fillers. This low concentration hyaluronic acid filler is suited for correcting fine lines without overfilling delicate areas as could happen with a heavier filler. JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC leaves a natural-looking, soft and smooth correction with results lasting up to a year.

VOLBELLA is a crystal-clear gel that is injected directly into and around the lips using an ultra-fine needle to temporarily plump them up and to smooth the appearance of lines around the mouth. Topical numbing together with lidocaine in the gel reduces the discomfort of the injection. Besides helping restore volume beneath the surface of different areas of the face without surgery, treatment additionally also boosts the skin’s resilience.

JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC is intended to subtly increase the size of the lips and smooth the lines surrounding the mouth for a rejuvenated appearance. The injectable is ideal for lip augmentation due to its extremely smooth gel consistency, which contains hyaluronic acid (HA). Patients over the age of 21 are eligible for JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC injections.
